Services Available

  • Individual transport for HACC eligible clients (elderly, carers and people with a disablities) who have no other means of transport. Transport is provided for medical related appointments e.g. doctors, dentists, podiatry, acupuncture, chiropractic, day surgery.
  • Individual transport for Veteran's Affairs 'Gold Card' holders to DVA approved medical appointments.
  • Weekly Access Bus: door to door assistance is provided, help with shopping bags and a helping hand on and off the bus.
  • Regular social/group outings e.g. Tweed City, Grafton.
  • YOWI 'Youth On Wheels Ink' Provides transport for groups of young people 12-20 to access recreational activities. Phone: 02 6628 0024


Kyogle District Care Connections can provide transport for HACC clients with special needs who fall outside of the capacity of other existing services.

Northern Rivers Community Transport has limited funding to provide transport to non HACC clients who have temporary mobility issues, e.g. have an injury and can not drive.
